The latest issue of the Hotel Brand Report covers the second quarter of 2017. Longview, in the northeast part of Texas, has had a slow market for several years.
As noted in the article Report: Oil industry recovery fueling hotel revenue, rebound, “Longview hotel room revenues increased 10.1 percent from a year ago to $10.09 million while the estimated occupancy rate increased to 54.6 percent from 51.7 percent, according to the report from industry tracker Source Strategies.”
Source Strategies, Inc. is the leading hotel consultancy in Texas and has been tracking hotel data for decades.
