East Austin Hotel to debut – Austin Business Journal
La Corsha’s development of the East Austin Hotel speaks to Austin’s robust hotel market. In the first quarter of 2018, Austin was home to seven of the top 10 hotels in Texas, as measured by revenue per available room, according to a study from Source Strategies Inc. Smaller boutique hotels had a good showing with Hotel Saint Cecilia in South Austin ranking No. 1 in that Source Strategies data dive and Hotel San Jose ranking No. 10.
More properties are coming, including the Magdalena Hotel off South Congress and the Hilton Canopy, which at last check was expected to open on West Sixth Street by the first quarter of 2020.
